PADI OPEN WATER DIVER

This is where it all begins!

Experience your first breath underwater and change your life forever. The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

  • Knowledge Development (home study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
  • Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
  • Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore!

PADI RESCUE DIVER

Expand on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur. Learn technique for self rescue, rescuing panickly divers and unresponsive divers.

PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER

Join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving. Earn your Master Scuba Diver rating, which distinguishes you for acquiring significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

With the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you have reached the highest non professional level in the PADI System of diver education. It means that you have acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

PADI KID'S COURSES

Scuba Certifications for Children and Teenagers

Get your whole family involved in scuba diving so you can share extraordinary memories together and take your vacations to new depths. Check out PADI's scuba programmes below for children starting as young as 8 (eight) years old.




Bubblemaker (ages 8+)
  • Youngsters can join in the family fun of scuba diving or even start a trend!
  • Children should  be comfortable in the water, but they don't have to be super swimmers. With youngsters in mind, the maximum depth is only 2 metres/ 6 feet.
  • Experience what scuba diving is like under the direct care and supervision of PADI Instructors.
  • Take their first breath underwater.
  • Learn about and use scuba diving equipment.


Seal Team

The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by doing exciting scuba AquaMissions. Divers are introduced to underwater photography, navigation, environmental awareness and more.



What You Learn:

The PADI Seal Team Programme is broken into two parts.

Part One :
AquaMission 1-5 - teaches kids the basic of diving - things like buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, etc.

After buiding a solid foundation of scuba skills, kids move on to part two. Part two is full of specialty AquaMissions, which usually last about an hour.

Padi Seal Team
  • Helps children learn responsibility
  • Teaches children about the aquatic environment
  • Is a fun pool - only experience
  • Is conducted by certified, trained PADI Professionals

JUNIOR OPEN WATER DIVER (Ages 10-14)


Young people can take the full PADI Open Water scuba certification course and upon completion will become Junior Open Water Divers with certain age limitations for scuba diving:
  • Junior Open Water Divers ages 10-11 years old must dive with a PADI Professional or certified parent/ guardian. Divers must not exceed 12 metres/ 40 feet.
  • Junior Open Water Divers ages 12-14 years old must dive with a certified adult. (13+ years old)
